Bernd Can: Under ANDRITZ Kusters, we are manufacturing calendering systems for textiles and nonwoven industries. Within the textile industrie particurlarly the denim area is very important for this country and we have a special denim finishing calender. The calendering system actually gives the last finishing touch to the fabric, soft hands, gloss, density and other special effects. In order to 2 effects in one passage ANDRITZ Kusters offers 3-roll systems. With this treatment gloss and soft hands can be obtained. These are our main products for this country but besides that we also have nonwoven manufacturing machinery, nonwoven bonding calenders and finishing equipment.
TEXtalks: Can you pls describe about the latest innovations from ANDRITZ Kusters?
Bernd Can: Particularly in the nonwoven area which is growing pretty fast globally, we developed a celender which contains 4 different engraved rolls in one machine using them if you need without changing the roll. Another thing in the textile area to give our customers maximum flexibility, we have multi cover technology, in one calender you can easily change the sleeve, have another roll cover and effect without changing the complete roll.
TEXtalks: How do you see Pakistani market for ANDRITZ Kusters products?
Bernd Can: Pakistani market is very important as it’s a textile country, we see big potential in this country, we are running quite a lot projects with famous textile companies here. We and our representatives NAZER give great care to serve our customers in Pakistan.
