Inaugurated by Chaudhary Tahir Manzoor, the event was hosted by Mujeb-ur-Rehman Siddiqui.
GTex global has become one of the most crucial textile exhibitions in Pakistan in the time span of just a few years. With the last successful event, held in Karachi, the GTex global expo has now brought a successful show to Lahore. Around 109 national and international companies from the textile industry are exhibiting their products on the occasion with almost 417 brands displaying their products at the event. The event is witnessing thousands of visitors’ from the textile sector showing great interest in the exhibited products and latest technologies brought to the platform, from around the globe. About 73 international delegates from 32 countries were present at the three days event. The total number of stalls was counted as 370.
While inaugurating the event, in the opening ceremony on 11th till 13th of August 2017, at Expo centre, Lahore, Mr Manzoor shared his views with the media. He appreciated the efforts and showed hope that such event can help support the textile industry of Pakistan. The opening ceremony was attended by many other prominent individuals including; Consul Generals, Diplomats and High-Profile notables from the textile industry. Mr Mujeb-ur-Rehman Siddiqui shared the information with TEXtalks- the Official Media Partners to GTex. Such a broad appreciation of the GTex explains that Gtex is a prosperous platform for the leading brands from the textile industry.
GTex- Lahore was attended by a number of quality visitors with a number of booming textile companies in the market, presenting their innovative ideas and exceptional services for the textile sector. Approximately 15,000 visitors attended the GTex Global Expo in Lahore. Like always the exhibitors will get an optimum response due to the unique response from the GTex, with prevalent opportunities to explore better business prospects by gaining maximum exposure.
