ISPO Textrends reveals best products for 2020

At ISPO Textrends the best base layer product was won by Südwolle Group’s Monopoli, best second layer product was achieved by Yadong’s Recycled Tencel Twill using Lenzing’s Refibra technology best outer layer product was scooped by Dajia Textile, part of the Yuansheng and top prize was awarded to holographic heat transfer prints from 3T.

Best product – base layer
Achieved by Südwolle Group’s Monopoli for a lightweight knit that has a composition of 74% Merino wool and 26% polyamide filaments/linen. It offers moisture management, is lightweight, thermal regulation, quick dry and breathable. It is produced by Betaspun technology, giving the yarn natural freshness including thermal regulation and anti-odor.

Best product – second layer
Yadong’s Recycled Tencel Twill using Lenzing’s Refibra technology producing lightweight and breathable twill which is also recyclable. It is a closed loop production process.

Best product – Outer layer
Dajia textile has achieved the best product for outer layer, membrane and coating category. An innovative blend of Tencel, a lightweight jacquard, cool yarn, polyester, spandex and cotton. The cool touch of the fabric is enhanced by anion function that delivers a sense of wellbeing and improved energy.

Best product – accessories
The holographic prints from 3T were awarded top prize as the customization demand is still on the rise. The prints are eco-friendly, lightweight and recyclable.

Best product – insulation
Imbotex achieve the best product insulation with ReCashmere product that is produced from old cashmere sweaters. The old garment is selected, broken down, sanitized and passed through special carding machines. It has high thermal quality and good moisture management.
