At the Première Vision show, SHIMA SEIKI MFG. will be participating in the Knitwear solutions category. It will exhibit knitting machines for the flatbed knitting sector as machine technologist.
The company will be demonstrating a computerized knitting machine, the SVR123SP which features a loop presser bed that produces hybrid inlay fabrics featuring both weave and knit characteristics. Across a wide range of applications such as fashion apparel, sportswear, outerwear, innerwear, functional clothing, uniform, wearable technology and technical textiles the demand for such fabrics is very huge.
For the demonstration of knitting technology flexibility, knitted accessory items will also be presented. At Première Vision SVR123SP will also feature the iPlating option for expanded capability in inverse plating technique whereby complex jacquardlike patterns can be knitted in plain jersey stitch.
At the exhibition, APEX3, SHIMA SEIKI’s latest 3D design system SDSONE will also be presented. The APEX3, throughout the production supply chain provides a comprehensive support by integration of production into a single smooth an efficient workflow from production planning, yarn development, design development and sales promotion as well. The APEX3 improves on the design evaluation process with its ultrarealistic simulation capability, whereby virtual samples minimize the need for actual sample making. This realizes significant savings in time, cost and material, contributing to smart, speedy and sustainable manufacturing.
