Stäubli live demonstrations at Febratex 2018

At Febratex, Stäubli will demonstrate solutions for automated weaving preparation, workflow automation and shedding for frame and Jacquard weaving which enhances mill operations. Stäubli’s knitting and weaving technologies enable mills to cost effectively and efficiently produce high-quality fabrics for a wide range of applications.

Topmatic warp tying installation

TOPMATIC warp tying machine ensures speed and quality. This machines yarn handling is in a range of 0.8 – 500 tex / Nm 2 – 1,250. It features double-end detection; ensuring optimum tying quality and helps in minimizing downtime of the weaving machine. This machine can be easily integrated into the operations of any mill.

Stäubli brings further time savings into the weaving preparation process with SAFIR automatic drawing installations. Featuring double-end detection, repeat detection and management technologies (both colour and S/Z), SAFIR machines are suitable for wide range applications and can be used in a variety of setups. They are ideal for all weaving mills that seek to increase their product quality and optimize their workflow.

Stäubli cam motions and dobbies wide range includes machines for any type of weft insertion system for any application. S3000 and S3200 series of rotary dobbies latest generation incorporates a new locking system. This feature provides enhanced security for the selection of the heald frames, which allows higher running speeds, less noise and vibration and superior reliability. Maintenance-free harness motions have further increase the efficiency of frame weaving installations.

Stäubli’s competitive product range of Jacquard machines includes terry cloth, upholstery fabrics, narrow fabrics or technical textiles. Re-engineered LX series feature a lifting mechanism which allows high-speed weaving of extremely heavy fabrics. With a coaxial drive shaft and a special chassis supporting the beams and bearings, these models can handle up to 26% greater loads. Internal airflow is optimized by improved positioning of the fans, ensuring the machines interior remains clean and at a controlled temperature. LX Jacquard machines are available in sizes up to 6,144 hooks.

LXL is the latest high speed LX series model, designed for even greater load capacity. This model can be equipped with 6,144 to 16,384 hooks. Formats up to 32,768 can be achieved by combining two machines.

An automation solution, D4S device, significantly shortens the production process of socks. Socks no longer need to be removed from the knitting machine for closing the toe on a separate machine. The D4S is mounted directly on the circular sock knitting machine which closes the sock immediately after knitting. The D4S significantly increases output and ensures optimum quality.

Stäubli at Febratex in (Booth 100, Sector 1, Street 7) will be demonstrating live operations.
