Lesser known brands beat Levi’s and Wrangler in Jeans durability tests

Origin USA brand jeans costing $124 and produced by men’s factory jeans in the United States of America was declared the best among 11 other brands as tested by Project Farm LLC, a YouTube channel devoted to testing wide-ranging products.

Only US-origin Jean brands were put to test among others including Best Made priced 0, the Duluth Double Flex with retail label of , Arat Rebar M4 costing , Wrangler 13MWZ with a price tag of , Levi’s 501 valued , Eddie Bauer.

Rural King, RedHead, Kirkland and Rustlers.

Tests of all the brands were conducted for belt loop strength, rear pocket failure weight, breathability/air movement, puncture resistance, crotch tear, and pocket puncture resistance.

Origin USA was the best among these brands while there was a tie for second place between Duluth, Best Made and Ariat. Famous brands like Wrangler and Levi’s were ranked lower than lesser-known brands.

During the test, all the pants were almost destroyed. To determine the fabric abrasion the jeans were rubbed with sandpaper and to determine the strength of the pockets they were stretched with weight until they ripped off.

Tests also included comfort and fit as well as details like shrinkage and pocket depth. were also considered in the review as were details such as shrinkage and pocket depth.

Levi’s 501 and Rural King scored the worst in the fabric abrasion test.

Their denim began to fray after just four swipes of 180-grit sandpaper. The Ariat Rebar M4 won that challenge and did not tear until 11 sandpaper rubs.
