The high-performance card C 80 has had many opportunities to demonstrate its strengths in practice in recent years. Blessed Textile Ltd. in Pakistan is one example of a spinning mill which, thanks to the C 80, has been able to significantly increase its productivity with better ring yarn quality.
The C 80, Rieter’s latest card generation, has been completely redeveloped and sets new benchmarks in terms of quality, productivity and energy saving.
It has a carding length of 3.2 meters and the 40 engaged flats spread over a 1.5-meter working width. This creates the basis for a significant increase in production with optimum sliver quality at the same time.
27% higher production level
The features of the C 80 have also convinced Blessed Textile Ltd. in Pakistan to invest in the high-performance card. Blessed is part of the Umer Group and their mills produce carded and combed ring yarn from cotton and blends ranging from Ne 7 to Ne 120. For a carded ring yarn Ne 20, the C 80 achieved a 27% higher production level with 33% better yarn quality than the predecessor model C 70
