The Functional Fabric Fair, powered by Performance Days, will return to Portland’s Oregon Convention Center from 11–13 November 2025 with an expanded educational lineup focused on sustainability, circularity, and regulatory readiness.
A new Day 0 Sustainability Workshop—sponsored by Hyosung and held on 11 November at the Hyatt Regency Downtown—will open the event. Curated by Jill Dumain (Fractal CSOs), Todd Copeland (Copeland Consultancy), and Kevin Myette (bluesign technologies), the full-day paid workshop will explore decarbonisation, circular design, forced labour compliance, and the scaling of emerging textile technologies.
From 12–13 November, the free Expert Talks series, sponsored by CovationBio Sorona, will feature 15+ sessions on bio-based innovation, human rights, trade policy, and the growing role of recyclers in textile-to-textile (T2T) systems. With Europe’s advances in Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), sorting, and digital product passports under the spotlight, the fair positions itself as a hub for the next generation of sustainable manufacturing.
“This year’s programme directly tackles the industry’s most pressing transformation challenges,” said Steve McCullough, Event Vice President. “We’re creating a space where sustainability shifts from theory to practice.”
More than 350 certified sustainable suppliers will showcase fabrics, finishes, trims, and accessories for the Autumn/Winter 2026–27 seasons. The event remains free for verified trade visitors, with separate registration for the Day 0 workshop.
