MyBluPrint: Crystal Denim’s first carbon footprint calculator

Crystal Denim has revealed its new MyBluPrint carbon footprint calculator, explicitly designed for denim manufacturers, and tracks carbon emissions for each manufacturing step along the process. MyBluPrint enables users to design a denim product on the interactive platform and, after creation, helps users understand the number of carbon emissions generated from that particular product by analyzing data traced from over 200 manufacturing processes.

Its launch comes after Crystal International Group Limited committed to reaching net zero emissions by 2050.



Crystal says launching the tool aims to highlight the importance of carbon reduction from every sector throughout the supply chain, including manufacturers, retailers, and end consumers. Upon the successful launch of MyBluPrint as the first step, Crystal Denim will continuously advance its algorithm and expand the data calculation mechanism to every pair of jeans it produces in the subsequent phases, making the calculator more comprehensive.
