Sustainability and innovation – shown at the New York Fashion Week

Developments and trends in the field of woven narrow textiles are clearly focusing on sustainability. Jakob Müller has already taken up this topic and translated it into innovative solutions. The winner of Amazon’s Making the Cut, Yannik Zamboni, presented his Spring 2023 collection for Maison Blanche at the New York Fashion Show. The ribbons with the brand name “maison blanche” seen in the pictures were woven on the Jakob Müller machine NFMJ576 with sustainable yarn made of Tencel®. Jakob Müller Group has supported Zamboni in the past with his brand “maison blanche” and is looking forward to continued successful cooperation.

More creativity in design and functions – The new NFMJ 576 + 768
The top model of the successfully launched NFMJ now offers you a broader design potential with additional Jacquard versions for 576 and 768 hooks. The NFMJ SPE3 768 narrow fabric weaving machine with Jacquard device replaces all versions of the NFJM/NFJK series.

Compared to the existing version with 384 hooks, the newly designed version NFMJ SPE3 576 offers you more possibilities for innovative designs at comparable productivity.

The application range of the NFMJ 576 as well as 768 includes light to medium-weight elastic and non-elastic tapes, trimmings and belts with woven-in lettering, signets as well as decorative motifs. The technical innovations offer a clear added value and ideally complement the NFMJ portfolio with its innovative functions:
– Programmable, electronic control for take-off as well as weft, auxiliary thread and rubber transports (patented)
– Higher machine efficiency due to simple and fast adjustment of all drives → Fast article changes with less material scrap
– Optimum tension control for almost all yarn types
– Reproducible settings of all parameters
– Conversion and upgrade options available at any time → e.g. NFMJ 192 to NFMJ 576
– Unlimited repeat length
– Patterning possibilities from 192 up to 1536 hooks with the new variants of the Jacquard device of up to 576 resp. up to 768 hooks in combination with up to 12 heald frames
– Fast and reliable programming via the pattern creation software MÜCAD

All Jakob Müller machines are equipped with energy-efficient motors. This reduces operating costs and contributes to sustainability.
