XLANCE® redefines stretch denim at Denim PV Milan

Denim evolves but never loses its identity.
At Denim Première Vision Milan, XLANCE® spotlighted with a clear mission: to demonstrate that durability and freedom of movement can truly coexist in the world of stretch.

Beyond Stretch: the invisible strength of long-lasting comfort
In an industry driven by trends and experimentation, XLANCE® stands out as a reliable constant.

Its cross-linked polyolefin-based technology allows fabrics to retain elasticity, comfort and a naturally soft hand feel even after intensive processes such as industrial washing, laser finishing, ozone, and thermal curing.

This resilience does not limit creativity — it expands it. It enables designers to push beyond traditional treatment boundaries without compromising performance, all while preserving a natural touch.

XLANCE® is not just another elastic fiber: it is a durability guarantee, engineered for denim that must endure over time, maintaining the same look, hand feel and comfort — wash after wash, year after year.

EXTENDED DURABILITY: The denim developed with PureDenim
The collaboration between XLANCE® and PureDenim has produced a denim engineered to deliver consistent stretch performance over time.

As explained by Luigi Caccia, Owner of the company, internal tests confirmed that XLANCE® fiber maintains its elasticity even after the most intensive finishing processes. Long-term evaluations also showed remarkable performance stability: even after extended wear and multiple home-laundering cycles, the fabric preserves the same elasticity and performance observed in its initial state. A result that highlights the ability of XLANCE® technology to deliver a denim that does not lose identity or functionality, even after real and intensive wear-and-wash cycles. Finally, it is important to note that fabrics made with XLANCE® fiber can be heat-set at low temperatures, significantly contributing to the reduction of CO₂ emissions.

INSPIRE CREATIVITY: The craftsmanship of ELLETI Group
The garments showcased at the XLANCE® booth have been manufactured and washed by ELLETI Group of San Bonifacio (VR), a benchmark in premium denim garment processing.
To evaluate the stability of the fiber in more complex constructions, ELLETI Group produced a diverse range of garments — from classic 5-pocket jeans to jackets, shirts, and workwear coats — testing the fabric’s behavior across very different production styles.

Throughout the sewing and finishing stages, fabrics with XLANCE® exhibited consistent responsiveness and high stability, maintaining their stretch performance and soft hand feel even after intensive treatments and high-intensity industrial processes.

BOOST PERFORMANCE: Real tests, tangible results – the collaboration with Tonello
During the show, XLANCE® will present the results of a collaboration with Tonello, an international leader in washing and finishing technologies.

The Sarcedo (VI) company carried out comparative testing on two fabrics with identical weight and construction: one made with the XLANCE® elastic fiber, the other with Spandex.

Subjected to aggressive wash cycles, high temperatures and prolonged extreme treatments, the samples made with XLANCE® fiber showed superior stability and no loss of elasticity — confirming the fiber’s ability to withstand even the most demanding processes while maintaining comfort and performance.

A denim that evolves and stands the test of time
XLANCE® sets a new direction for the industry: a stretch denim that preserves its identity over time, even when exposed to intense stress.

It is a fiber designed for a future where ethics and durability become synonymous with style: less waste, more performance, more creative freedom.

A tactile and visual journey to discover how technology can redefine the longevity and performance of the most iconic fabric of all.
