The 4th edition of TEXPO Pakistan has been scheduled for May 2023 with the objective of providing opportunities to witness the showcase of high-quality products from Pakistan.
The event is gearing up to showcase the textile industry from all across Pakistan and brings together textile units reflecting offerings from sectors such as: leather garments, gloves, footwear, cotton, embroidery & lace, readymade garments, home linen, towel, hosiery art silk, sportswear & functional fabrics, lace & accessories, denim, knitwear, etc.
Pakistan is the 8th largest textile exporter in the world with the 3rd largest spinning capacity in Asia, the 4th largest cotton producer in the world, and securing 62% of its GDP from the sector.
Director of Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Fareeha Khan has informed that a large number of international buyers from different countries had established business contacts through this exhibition in 2019. Since the successful holding of the last three editions, the upcoming edition is promising more rewarding opportunities for its participants, she added.
Pakistan’s government was carrying out arrangements to promote Pakistan’s exports through new avenues of trade while focusing on non-traditional markets. To this end, a single-country exhibition is also being planned to grab the untapped trade potential within the African and Central Asian region.
The upcoming event would be a one-stop sourcing platform for new business alliances and investments. Texpo Pakistan would portray the soft image of the country that Pakistan had a business-friendly atmosphere and the mega event would help in enhancing the textile exports of the country, he said and assured that all the facilities would be provided to the exhibitors in the event.
