TEXtalks: Please tell us about the Nooriabad Facility of Soorty Denim?
Shoaib A. Rehman: Nooriabad Unit of Soorty Enterprises was established in 2016 with a production capacity of 1.1 million meters of fabric. We are doing dyeing, rope dyeing, weaving, and finishing and then sending fabric to the garment industries.
With time, we have been adding machines and now in 2021, our production capacity has been increased to 4.2 million meters of finished fabrics.
TEXtalks: What made you choose the CIBITEX machine?
Shoaib A. Rehman: CIBITEX was always there when we were about to decide on the sanforizing machine. We decided to utilize some extra parts in the CIBITEX machine and make it in a way that is competitive for us and that idea was accepted by CIBITEX. We also visited some other mills where CIBITEX recently installed their machine and were satisfied with the machine performance.
TEXtalks: How is the performance of the machine in terms of productivity and speed? Please share your experience with CIBITEX and after sales service by their local agent in Pakistan?
Shoaib A. Rehman: I would say this machine from CIBITEX competes with any other machines in terms of speed and production. We have recently started production from this machine two or three months ago. We are still gathering the data but we see some benefits in terms of utility consumption with this machine. The machine is customized as per our requirements and it is performing as per our expectations.
The best part of the CIBITEX which I appreciated now after using it that they have recommended us a few things which are new and more sustainable in terms of water-saving. Off course it is not their part, like WEKO, it has many models which sprays the right moisture on the fabric. At the same time when you recover the water, it saves a lot. We selected it and now we are enjoying it. We appreciate a supplier who is giving us new ideas to make our production more sustainable.
The after-sales service from their local agent TEXSOL is satisfactory and good so far.
Their technicians stay with us whenever we need them. I hope they continue in the same way to build a long-term relationship with us.
