Artistic Milliners Pakistan has launched Cradle to Cradle Certified®️ jeans. The collections are Aureola jeans, which achieved C2C Certified at Gold level, and Nymph jeans, which reached the Bronze level, both in the 3.1 Standard version. The Cradle to Cradle Certified Products Program is based on the concept of continuous improvement. Thus, there are four possible levels of achievement within each of the standard’s five key requirement categories: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. To reach the desired achievement level within each category, the product must meet all of the requirements for that level, in addition to the requirements at all lower levels.
The company has developed Aureola and Nymph in collaboration with Lee and Eco Intelligent Growth, S.L., ensuring that it meets the highest circularity standards. The C2C gold level certification means responsible sourcing management systems are in place that support the implementation and oversight of the environmental policy within the product’s supply chain. While the Nymph jeans collection has achieved Bronze level, which means:
- Environmental risks are assessed for the final manufacturing stage and the product.
- An environmental policy based on the environmental risks associated with the final manufacturing stage and the product is in place.
- A strategy is developed for implementing the policy at all final manufacturing stage facilities. At recertification, progress toward achieving the strategy is measured.
- Company executives demonstrate commitment and support for establishing and maintaining a culture for achieving high levels of environmental performance.
