Cinte Techtextil China 2025 opens with expanded zones and innovation drive

The Cinte Techtextil China 2025 trade fair officially opened today at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, running through September 5. Spanning 32,000 square meters across three halls, the exhibition features a wide range of international and domestic exhibitors presenting the latest in technical textiles and nonwovens.

A major highlight this year is the launch of the Textile Chemicals & Dyes Zone in Hall W5, focusing on innovations for medical, industrial, automotive, and environmental protection applications. Exhibitors include debut participants Dupre Minerals (UK) and Michelman (USA), alongside returning leaders such as CHT Germany. The European and German Zones also return, with first-time exhibitors like Serel Industrie (Belgium), Proton Product International (UK), and Wetekam Group (Germany) showcasing advanced solutions.

Domestic pavilions in Halls W3 and W4 spotlight specialized areas including medical and hygiene textiles, filtration and separation, and Mobiltech (automotive) textiles, reflecting the fair’s broader focus on high-growth sectors.

The event’s strong fringe programme reinforces its role as an innovation hub. Day 1 highlights include an AI Panel Discussion, the China International Nonwovens Conference (CINC), and the Innovation Product Award Presentation. On Day 2, attendees can join the Econogy Tour, a Sustainability Forum, and a Technical Innovation Exchange on Automotive Textiles, supported by site tours of Mobiltech exhibitors.

Pre-registration indicates robust international interest, with 95 VIP buyers from 32 countries and regions already confirmed. Organisers expect the fair to strengthen global collaboration and drive advancements in the technical textiles sector.
