India ITME 2022 witnessed several new products from global textile machinery manufacturers

India ITME 2022, the mega technology and engineering B2B exhibition for textiles, held from 8 to 13 December 2022, has witnessed several new product launches from textile machinery manufacturers such as ColorJet and Yamuna. The ITME Society, the event organizer, has also hosted the second edition of its awards today to recognize the contributions of the textile engineering sector of India.

The organizer also hosted the second edition of the ITME Society Awards, setting the tone for the start of the biggest textile engineering show. An award category specifically targeting youth, research, and innovations has also been introduced by the India ITME Society.

The award for Top Performance in Textile Engineering Industry went to Lakshmi Machine Works Limited for the spinning segment; Rabatex Industries for the weaving and preparatory segment; Texfab Engineers (India) Pvt Ltd for the finishing segment; ColorJet India Ltd for the printing segment; and Lakshmi Card Clothing Manufacturing Company Private Limited for the entire textile machinery segment. The best Initiatives for Pollution Control Technology winner is S A Pharmachem Pvt Ltd.

Yamuna Machine Works, an India-based textile machinery manufacturer, introduced three knitting machines—Open Width Knit Compactor, Open Width Knit Singeing Machine, and Alea-Yamuna Multilayer Stenter
COLORJET GROUP launched METRO NXT, High Quality, and High-Speed digital Textile printer
The EFI Reggiani highlighted the TERRA Silver printer as the ideal solution to enter the industrial printing segment with a short, smart, green process.

Marzoli presented its ambitious ‘2025 Strategic Roadmap for India’ regarding its goals for the textile industry of the country and displayed roving frame technology FT-D with a high degree of automation and digital integration
Baldwin Technology Company Inc showcased TexCoat G4 precision spray finishing system
Sperotto Rimar offers smart and eco-friendly solutions for textile finishing
ColorService showcased systems for automatic powder dyes storage, auto weighing, and dyes dissolution

The Karl Mayer Group presented the ISOWARP sectional warping machine
Terrot exhibited highly flexible and productive I3P196 interlock, fine rib machine
Picanol displayed three high-tech weaving machines from the OmniPlus-i Connect air jet generation

There were about 3,250 companies involved in manufacturing textile machinery, accessories, and equipment trading in India. The 11th edition was held in the 2,35,000 sq.m area, and the six-day event was packed with activities for every segment, whether businessmen, technocrats, students, officials, or overseas participants.
