KARL MAYER's PROSIZE® 100th sizing machine for Pakistan

Happenings With a delegation from the KARL MAYER Group, Peter Obrist honored the delivery anniversary together

with the customer, Nishat Mills Ltd., and presented them a model of PROSIZE® their new acquisition at
Nishat Mills Ltd facility on October 2, 2021.

Nishat Mills Ltd. is one of the largest cotton producers and weavers in the world. Especially due to the
pandemic stay-at-home trend, the home textile segment of Nishat Mills Ltd is booming, extensive
investments in new weaving machines are underway. The company is also expanding its warp
preparation capacity with the new PROSIZE®. It completes a machine park that already includes
numerous KARL MAYER sizing and direct beaming machines. Nishat Mills Ltd and KARL MAYER have
been working together on a basis of mutual trust since 2000.

PROSIZE® - An innovative breakthrough by Karl Mayer
PROSIZE® has the turbulent size application and the sponge effect allows reduction of the size add-on
up to 10%. The short wet-application zone with 100% bonded yarn transport and Soft-Dry system
ensures the lowest yarn elongation in the sizing process. It also offers top weaving performance
through absolute size liquor homogeneity, low hairiness, less dust, and no stop marks.
