ITMA 2023’s virtual launch highlight industry transformation through innovation

The virtual launch of ITMA 2023 is on the 28th of January 2021 at 10:00-10:45 AM CET (Pakistan Time: 02:00 PM – 02-45 PM). ITMA 2023 will feature the theme, “Transforming the World of Textiles.” It is supported by four sub-themes: advanced materials, automation, digital future, innovative technologies, sustainability, and circularity.

Joining at the virtual launch, one can have an opportunity to talk to the following panel members:

Charles Beauduin, chairman of ITMA Services, CEO & Owner of Michele Van de Wiele. Michel Van de Wiele NV develops, builds, and installs carpet and velvet weaving machines. The Company offers application software such as design analysis, planning system, and production monitoring to weaving mills. Michel Van de Wiele conducts business worldwide. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a graduate degree from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.

Regina Bruckner, a board member of ITMA services and chairperson of VDMA, is on the panel. She is also the owner of the Brunker group.  The Bruckner Group member companies are global leaders in building machines and systems. The corporate group has been family-owned since it was founded in 1960, reflected in the long-term orientation. The group has some 2,400 employees worldwide and is managed by the strategic management holding company, Brückner Group GmbH.

Alex Zucchi, President ACIMIT (Association of Italian Manufacturers of Machinery for the Textile Industry) and MD of Ferraro. Mr. Zucchi has garnered multi-year experience in the textile machinery sector and is currently Managing Director and a FERRARO partner, a manufacturer specializing in finishing machinery. He is also a shareholder in another company in the industry, BUROCCO VALVOLE, and working as an Executive Vice President.

Oscar Rius
, President AMEC-Amtex Spanish Association of Textile Machinery Manufacturers and COO of RIUS-COMATEX. The company, RIUS-COMATEX, is a more than 75 years old manufacturer of textile machinery in the city of Manresa (Barcelona).

The decision to host ITMA 2023 in Milan was taken at the CEMATEX General Assembly held recently. We received very positive feedback from ITMA 2015 exhibitors and visitors,” explained Fritz P Mayer, President of CEMATEX. Milan has excellent infrastructure for holding large-scale exhibitions like ITMA, which grosses over 200,000 square meters and attracts a global audience. It offers an extensive range of hospitality services and air connections to all parts of the world. Italy also has large textile machinery and textile making industry.
