Denim trade fair, Kingpins off to a good start in October 2023

Denim trade fair Kingpins has got off to an excellent start at Sugar City in Amsterdam. The show floor is busy with a flurry of activities and meetings are under way.

Kingpins is a well-known trade show in the denim industry. It is specifically focused on denim and related textiles. Kingpins hosts events in various cities around the world, including New York City, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, and others.

This time all the big mills and chemicals companies serving denim mills have booths and areas, including Advance Denim, AGI, Cone Denim, Kaiser, Kipas, Orta, Officina39, Soko, and many more. The trade show serves as a platform for denim professionals, including fabric manufacturers, designers, and denim enthusiasts, to showcase their products, network, and stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in the denim industry.

Seminars at the two-day event include trends presentations from Denim Dudes for the spring-summer 25 season and a talk on how AI is set to “revolutionize” the denim industry.

At Kingpins, attendees can find a wide range of denim fabrics, accessories, and technologies from different exhibitors. This event is popular among fashion designers, retailers, and manufacturers who are looking for high-quality denim materials and seeking inspiration for their collections.

One of the notable aspects of Kingpins is its focus on sustainability and ethical practices within the denim industry. Many exhibitors and discussions at the fair revolve around eco-friendly denim production, ethical sourcing of materials, and responsible manufacturing processes. As sustainability becomes an increasingly important concern in the fashion industry, Kingpins plays a crucial role in promoting sustainable practices among denim manufacturers and designers.
