MESDAN® S.p.A., the Italy-based leading manufacturer of YARN JOINING SOLUTIONS and TEXTILE TESTING EQUIPMENT, will be exhibiting at the forthcoming ITM exhibition, the most important textile machinery exhibition in Turkey. Mesdan will attend it for the first time with their new corporate image, thanks to the recent acquisition by the Vandewiele Group.
Mesdan will be exhibiting in their two agents’ booth:
• Hall 3, stand no. 309A with SARTEKS MAKINA, agent for the spinning sector (for both splicers and laboratory equipment).
AUTOFIL, the very new fully automatic tensile strength tester for yarns and fabrics, recently already introduced in the Turkish market, will be exhibited. Autofil is the spearhead of the Mesdan dynamometer range, which was completely revised with the latest technology available. The range includes also other automatic and semi-automatic versions, with the well-known brands of AUTODYN III, and TENSOLAB 4.
MOISTAIR®, instead, is the most recently developed splicing device of the Mesdan line, which is today available also for the ATS system, for the installation on assembly winders, twisting machines, creels and other manual machines. Moistair is the ideal solution for splicing twisted cotton, linen, viscose yarns and their blends. It completes the range of the other semi-automatic splicing devices, the famous JOINTAIR®, AQUASPLICER® and HOT JOINTAIR® models.

Techtextil as a source of inspiration and networking platform
Techtextil is the only trade fair in Germany in which Mayer & Cie. regularly participates. “As this trade fair focuses on technical textiles, customers mostly look for small, fine solutions there”, explains Jürgen Müller, head of pattern service at Mayer & Cie. Therefore, the company travels to Frankfurt without a physical machine but with an array of samples and plenty of experience for the capacities of circular knitting. Jürgen Müller: “Our machine portfolio is known as the most extensive in the market. There is hardly anything in modern-day circular knits that cannot be produced on a Mayer & Cie. knitting machine. That is why we prepare for focussing on consultancy at Techtextil.”
