Naia fibers have been launched now in the knitwear category to promote sustainability

Eastman Naia™ cellulosic fiber is known to be made with sustainably sourced wood that brings the richness of nature to comfortable and effortlessly luxurious fabrics. Eastman has now introduced Naia™ at Premiere Vision-Paris Digital Show (PV) for the knitwear category. PV is the digital fashion and textile show held from February 15-19, 2021.

Naia™  allows for creating comfortable, incredibly soft, smooth, breathable sweaters, and depending on the blend, feel lightweight to provide longer-lasting comfort. Naia™  provides versatility to sweater yarns in lustrous or matte finishes. Naia cellulosic yarn can be used in knitwear with inherent cool-to-touch properties to keep skin feeling cool, which endures even after prolonged washing and wearing.

Carolina Sister Cohn, global segment market manager at Eastman, said, “Now, designers can produce sweaters that meet both quality and consumer sustainability needs, making Naia fiber the perfect choice for conscious fashion.”

With full traceability from tree to fiber, Eastman Naia™ cellulosic fiber is made in the U.S.A. with the highest safety, social, and environmental standards. Our closed-loop production process allows the recycling and reuse of safe solvents and water, resulting in fibers with a low environmental impact.
