Nazer & Co. – one of Pakistan’s oldest representatives of textile machinery celebrated its 70th anniversary on 3rd December 2022 at the Nazer & Co. stand during IGATEX 2022 exhibition in Lahore. On this occasion, their long-term partners: (Osthoff-Senge) with a history of 110 years, (Optibelt) with 150 years of experience, Karl Mayer turned 85, and BRÜCKNER celebrating its 73 candles were part of the event.
The 70th anniversary was celebrated with a cake-cutting ceremony. The event was attended by a large number of friends and partners from the textile industry including the following representatives of foreign principals: Mr. Matthias Duerr of Osthoff-Senge, Mr. Mark Smith of Karl Mayer, Mr. Bo Michael Kristoffersen of Brueckner, Mr. Abdul Aleem of Optibelt, Mr. Bilal Saif of Morrison Textile Machinery were also present.
Nazer & Co. started its journey in 1952 and played a vital role in innovating the textile industry. After 70 years of technical and creative excellence, they are still committed and motivated to further innovate and strenghten the textile industry with the help of the latest textile machinery developed by their principals accross the world to retain their edge in the market.
On the occasion of 70th Anniversary, Mr. Abbas Mooraj said, “We are celebrating our 70th Anniversary with our long-term partners who helped us to innovate Pakistan’s textile industry over the years. I joined Nazar & Co in 1960 and completed 62 years of service. Back in 1953, Nazer was contacted by the Combitex Group, a collective of eleven German textile machinery manufacturers for representation in Pakistan, and the journey of representing European textile machinery started. I have seen many ups and downs in the industry; we hope to overcome the current situation as we all see a very bright future for Pakistan.”
Mr. Bo Michael Kristoffersen said, “Along with Nazer & Co., BRÜCKNER also celebrates its 73rd Anniversary. Over the years, our machines have processed uncountable meters of different fabrics in both woven and knitted constructions in Pakistan and worldwide.
