Hohenstein is expanding its global services with a new lab in Dhaka, Bangladesh. In the lab Hohenstein will run textile and chemical testing and result analysis for textile brands, manufacturers and retailers including testing for adverse substances, performance tests, inspections and quality controls which comprises of color fastness, pilling, fiber fitness, water tightness, etc. with high end cutting edge analysis equipment.
Mr Stefan Mecheels, owner Hohenstein said, “Hohenstein is all about proximity to the customer and German quality. In Bangladesh, we are in close contact with our laboratories in Germany and Hong Kong.”
The new laboratory will start operations with 30 local employees. Hohenstein is as expert in providing independent testing of materials with harmful substances, environmentally friendly production facilities and safe working places. It provides certification through the entire textile value chain for the companies worldwide.
