OETI has announced “INSPECTED QUALITY FOR MOUTH-NOSE MASKS”. This technology offers specific criteria for the protection of the wearer against harmful substances, and it helps to reduce oral transmission by preventing the virus from entering the nose or mouth through contaminated hands. Finally, the mask, tested according to CWA 17553, helps to reduce the risk of infecting others by speaking, sneezing and coughing.
Founded in 1967, OETI has established a reputation with both manufacturers and traders alike for the testing and certification of textiles, personal protective equipment (PPE) and interior design materials and as well as the testing of textile, resilient and laminate floor coverings. At the Innovations Department, OETI developed new product ideas together with customers, and provide them with the “INSPECTED QUALITY” label for their products, services, processes and production sites – with the safety of the INSPECTED QUALITY standard. With the label “INSPECTED QUALITY for MOUTH-NOSE MASKS” masks are tested for functionality and harmful substances. The label is based on the specifications of the Workshop Agreement CWA 17553.
