Planet Textiles, the international sustainability conference that was last held at ITMA in 2019 will again be returning this summer at the world’s largest textile industry trade fair.
The event in 2019 was organized in Barcelona. This time will be held from 12-13 June at the Fiera Milano Rho exhibition center in Italy. It will be organized by the Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC).
Planet Textiles is famous in the industry as an important sustainability. The organizers are arranging the best speakers for the event. The organizers aim to bring together the global community to take advantage of this unique opportunity of exploring sustainability innovation across the value chain.
The two-day event will be an ideal opportunity for participants to learn about the latest trends in sustainability and explore the full textile ecosystem. The latest Higg Index updates would be shared along with the role of manufacturers in driving change.
Planet textiles will be run in partnership with MCL News & Media. The organizers asked companies intending to participate or sponsor action-packed Planet Textiles agenda to contact the SAC team. The last Planet textiles event was attended by 420 delegates. Speakers from prominent brands presented their points of view. The brands included H&M, Nike, HSBC, ZDHC, and Higg.
Planet Textiles’ 2023 return will be no different. It promises to dive deeper into the key, practical environmental issues facing our industry with insights from leading brands, textile manufacturers, nonprofits, and academic institutes. Planet Textiles is a conference on textiles and sustainability that will attract more visitors ITMA routinely attracts more than 100,000 visitors.
