This year’s Proposte fabric and curtain expo will feature unique installations and events. The 2022 event will take place April 26-28 at the Villa Erba in Cernobbio with 69 exhibitors. In addition to 29 Italian companies, exhibitors at this year’s fair come from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Morocco, The Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, and Turkey.
At Proposte, CELC, the European Confederation of Linen and Hemp, will present innovative products in linen, mainly intended for high-end interior design. In addition, ADM, the Agency of Excises, Customs, and Monopolies will illustrate how its laboratory technicians analyze fibers and fabrics and present the customs institutes that facilitate exports. A special presentation event is scheduled on Tuesday 26 at 11:30 a.m. at the Serra Platani.
About The Fair
In 1993, many of the most qualified Italian furnishing textile industrialists promoted the PROPOSTE fair. What was needed was a specialized and selective fair, which, starting from the consolidated MADE IN ITALY, would highlight the quality and professionalism of MADE IN EUROPE.
The fair is SPECIALIZED because the exhibitors are exclusively direct producers of furnishing and curtain fabrics. The fair is SELECTIVE because these exhibitors share at least three characteristics: the qualification of their companies and products, their professional fairness, and their commitment to research and experimentation in aesthetics and technologies.
Proposte is an exhibition with free admission reserved for operators belonging to the following business sectors: textile editors, upholstered furniture manufacturers, wholesalers, converters, major retail chains, and contract industry professionals.
