Renaissance textile targets to become the first French recycling platform dedicated to end-of-life textiles, and the company will soon open the new 12,000 square-meter plant. The start-up of the line is scheduled for June 2022. The plant will be equipped with a complete recycling line from Andritz Laroche on which post-consumer waste fibers will be opened, mixed with virgin fibers, and re-spun to produce new textiles ultimately.
Christophe Lambert, President of Renaissance Textiles, says: “We were looking for a partner who can deliver tailor-made, sustainable solutions for our project. We quickly saw they were the right partner for us and that we could rely on the full support of their process experts.”
