Using cutting edge Polartec technology, the Swedish outdoor brand Haglofs has launched a new collection for boosting all-round performance. Hglofs company said, “Take the Mimic Junction Jacket using award-winning Polartec Power Air. This ground-breaking fabric has a micro-quilted appearance. Small pockets of air are trapped within the fibers, retaining warmth and reducing microfibre shedding during washing by over five times that of traditional mid-layer fabrics helping keep plastic out of our oceans.”
Haglofs SNW Series is about mountain performance wear. The Touring Mid Jacket is made from a Polartec fabric developed initially for the US Special Forces. Alpha Direct is adept at accommodating changes in activity levels, keeping users comfortable throughout, without the need to shed layers.

Haglofs explains, “This adaptable insulation is fast-drying, super breathable, and very lightweight. The omission of backing fabric (Direct) enhances the already excellent breathability level and keeps the garment super lightweight. Great for mountain users switching between high-pulse uphill climbs and cool, windy downhill runs.”
