Smart textiles and intelligent manufacturing would be one of the prime focuses of Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show. Combining cloud computing and wireless-communication technology to provide detective capability and adopting hi-tech automation systems and solutions to enhance production efficiency are the themes to be followed by the participants of the show.
In Hall No.1 of Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in Taiwan has become a testing ground for the innovators of the textile business.
Starting from 12th of October, the show would continue until 14th with heavy presence of textile gurus busy with innovation in this never-ending area of business around the world. As many as 367 exhibitors from across the globe have landed to this Asia Pacific region destination of textile, which is claimed to be the only textile innovation trade show in Taiwan. Besides the exhibitors from domestic textile & apparel industry, there is also an important number of international exhibitors including Cotton USA, Microban, HeiQ, Ommi Srl and UK-based Alchemie Technology. The US, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, the UK, Switzerland and Sweden are among the nations with exhibiting companies.
Among other areas to be pursued in the show included sustainability to adopt eco-friendly materials and processes to achieve zero discharge of hazardous substances. It would be followed by the use of functional applications in order to apply multifunctional textiles to a modern lifestyle across sports, outdoor, fitness and wellness. Personal protective equipment is also being spotlighted in the show to promote development of personal or medical protective products with advanced textile technology.
