Turkey set to open Bursa Textile Show Fair from October

Turkey is set to open Bursa Textile Show (BURTEX) Fair on October 18, 2022, with over 40 foreign buyers from more than 500 countries expected to witness the upcoming autumn-winter fabric and accessory collections at the Merinos Atatürk Congress Culture Centre.

As many as 137 textile manufacturers would put their products for the 2023-2024 autumn – winter seasons on display with the support of the Ministry of Trade. Bursa, being a large city in northwest Turkey, lying in the foothills of roughly 2,500m-high Mount Uludağ near the Sea of Marmara, will host the largest garment fabric fair in the region until October 20, where more than 500 target countries, especially Russia, Spain, Italy, and England, will visit the fair.

Global Fair Agency (KFA), a fair organization company, has joined hands with the Ministry of Trade to make it a success story in fast-changing textile demands worldwide. Some 40 foreign business professionals will assemble to appreciate the Turkish innovations in the textile sector and fashion-shaping products.

İsmail Kuş, Vice Chairman of the BTSO Board of Directors, said that they aim to make Bursa, the production and export centre of the Turkish economy, as it has become the region’s most extensive garment fabric fair today.

“Our fair has become an important brand in the textile sector in Bursa, increasing the number and quality of visitors each year. I would like to thank our textile industry representatives who have taken care of the fair since the first day and all our stakeholders who supported the organisation of our fair,” he said.
