Outstanding designs will receive a special distinction at the upcoming DOMOTEX in January 2015: the Carpet Design Awards, acknowledging high-quality, well-designed hand-made carpets. This competition is considered to be the world’s leading award for hand-made carpets and rugs. In the tenth year of its existence, the competition is being staged for the first time under the umbrella of Innovations@DOMOTEX . This new union, which will substantially enhance the status of the competition, also serves to underscore the special DOMOTEX focus on innovations and trends. 14th October 2014 is the deadline for submission of exclusive handmade design for the competition.
