In 2017 RadiciGroup sales exceeded by EUR 1billion and net income by 60%.
While Group EBITDA was EUR 160 million – a 45% increase.
The Group – with companies in 16 countries, over 3,000 employees, 33 sales and production units engaged in chemicals, plastics and synthetic fibers – recorded consolidated sales revenue of EUR 1,147 million, a 20% increase over the prior financial year.
RadiciGroup focuses on its strategic core business activities which include nylon chemicals, synthetic fibers and engineering plastics and aims to keep improving to maintain competitive position in market.
Synthetic fibers and nonwovens
This product segment produces various products like polyester yarn, nylon, artificial grass and nonwovens as well as materials used in several industries which include automotive, furnishings and apparel. The global sales revenue of this segment when from EUR 412 million in 2016 to EUR 451 billion in 2017 which is an overall increase of 9%.
Specialty chemicals
Compared to 2016, the sales revenue went up by 35% due to avg sale prices, raw material cost and high market demand.
Performance plastics
The revenue margins shrunk significantly in performance plastics business since the raw materials prices increased. But, the revenues showed improvement during the first quarter of 2018 compared to the same period last year.
