Government is working on a new policy to broaden and develop Pakistan’s export

SIALKOT: A policy is being developed with the help of local industrialists which will aid in establishing a more prominent and permanent export culture, said Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan, Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister for Trade and Investment.

He assured the community that the government is mindful and is no stranger to the problems that the business community has been facing. He acknowledged the role of the industrial city of Sialkot in economic sustenance of the province and the country.

Therefore, all the efforts are being made by the government to solve these problems and find a solution.

The top most priority is to expedite the exporters through ease of doing business initiatives, said Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan at a meeting with business community at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI).

The special assistant highlighted that Sialkot was exporting the best quality sports goods, surgical instruments, leather products, gloves of all sorts, textile items, sportswear, martial art uniforms and accessories, musical instruments, kitchenware, hollowware, knives, cutlery items and military uniform badges internationally.
