The American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) has officially opened the call for abstracts for its highly anticipated 2026 AATCC Coloration Conference, scheduled to take place on February 24–25, 2026, at the StateView Hotel in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. This annual event brings together global leaders, researchers, and innovators in textile coloration to discuss cutting-edge advancements and challenges shaping the industry.
AATCC is inviting experts to submit abstracts of 125 words or less no later than September 12, 2025. The selected presentations will cover a diverse range of topics, reflecting the conference’s forward-thinking theme.
Focus areas include modernization of color testing labs, improved color matching technologies, the impact of LED/UV lighting on color communication, and strategies for integrating smart machinery into color development processes.
Further topics of interest include the role of nanogels in textile coloration, innovations in dyeing natural and synthetic fibers, advanced testing protocols, and compliance with emerging environmental regulations. The event aims to spark dialogue on building the “lab of the future” — a concept combining precision technology with sustainability goals.
Researchers, industry professionals, and academic contributors are encouraged to submit their proposals to Matt Brennan via email. The conference promises to be a key knowledge-sharing platform, offering insights into both practical applications and future possibilities within the global coloration sector.
