Export volume of bed-wear textile surged by 12 percent or 26217 metric tons to 242,733 metric tons in July-Jan 2018-19 from 216,516 metric tons in July-Jan 2017-18, the figures said.
In Jan 2019, the country exported $193.309 million of bed-wear textile, which is higher by 7 percent or .
115 million from $181.194 million of the value-added products exported in Jan 2018.
In term of quantity, the bed-wear textile export remained stagnant with less than 1 percent or 30 metric tons fall to 30,861 metric tons in Jan 2019 from 30,891 metric tons in Jan 2018.
