DyStar has published its 2024–2025 Integrated Sustainability Report, showcasing continued progress towards its long-term environmental, social, and governance goals. A central highlight of the report is the company’s significant achievement in reducing its carbon footprint, with Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions totaling 42.
96 × 10³ tCO₂e, representing a 67% absolute reduction from the 2011 baseline.
In addition, DyStar has strengthened its resource efficiency, cutting wastewater production intensity by 58% to 7.64 m³ per ton of production, while also improving energy efficiency with a 3% reduction in consumption to 9.67 GJ per ton.
Sustainable practices are also reflected in the company’s procurement and packaging processes, with 45% of packaging materials sourced from recycled content and zero reported non-compliance issues regarding labeling or product information. On the social dimension, DyStar continues to advance inclusivity and employee well-being, with 31% of management positions now held by women, and the report recording zero workplace fatalities or incidents of work-related ill health. The company further contributed USD 180,000 towards community initiatives, underlining its role as a socially responsible corporate actor.
From a governance perspective, DyStar maintains a strong record of integrity and compliance. The 2024–2025 report confirms no cases of corruption, anti-competitive behavior, antitrust violations, or data breaches, reflecting the company’s commitment to robust corporate governance and transparency.
