Germany’s Suedwolle invests $27mn in Vietnamese textile factory

Germany’s Suedwolle Group is investing US $27 million in a weaving and dyeing factory with a capacity of 4.500 tons of fabrics per annum in the Ninh Thuan Industrial Zone located in Ninh Thuan.

Suedwolle Group, which is a manufacturer of wool yarns and fabrics, has made the investment through its subsidiary Dalat Worsted Spinning Company (DWS). Started in 1966, Suedwolle has production facilities in eight countries, including Vietnam and also has dyeing factories in China and Germany. The group presently employs around 3,200 personnel in its manufacturing plants and sales offices across various countries in the world like Hong Kong, New Zealand, South Africa, and USA.

The German company started manufacturing operations in Vietnam in 2019 and manages projects in
Dalat and Du Long IP provinces.
