Hyosung to exhibit certified textiles at Intertextile Shanghai

South Korean manufacturer of spandex brand Creora, Hyosung is going to exhibit certified textile solutions for sustainability and dyeable spandex at Intertextile Shanghai Apparel in Stall E103.

Hyosung will again support its main mill partners as co-exhibitors in its stall, which was a long-standing Hyosung Intertextile Shanghai (ITS) tradition before the onset of Covid-19.

“We are happy to have 24 co-exhibitors with us of which 7 are from East China, 12 from South China, and 5 from South Korea,” Hyosung Chinese Marketing Director Scott Park said.

“We have found it is a benefit for garment manufacturers to be able to see all the fabrics produced by our mill partners, made with our innovative fiber technology,” he informed.

Hyosung will exhibit fabrics made from Creora bio-based spandex which is USDA and SGS-certified spandex, partly made with renewable resources, while offering reduced carbon emissions.

It will also show regen ocean nylon, which is GRS-certified, 100 percent recycled nylon made from discarded fishing nets and other reclaimed nylon waste.

Also on exhibit is Creora Color+ spandex, which is a special acid/reactive dyeable elastane and has the same performance stretch characteristics as its flagship fiber, Creora PowerFit.

“It also has the added benefit of providing long-lasting richer colors in nylon and natural fiber blends, which are popular among leading intimate, activewear, and ready-to-wear brands,” the company stated.
