The Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn 2025 fair concluded successfully, drawing more than 100,000 visitors from 123 countries and regions. Held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, the event featured over 3,700 exhibitors from 26 countries, showcasing a wide range of innovations in fabrics, textile technologies, and sustainable solutions.
Spread across nine halls, the event offered a strong platform for global buyers and suppliers to connect, exchange ideas, and explore new business opportunities. A key highlight was the expanded Econogy Hub, which grew by over 60% compared to previous editions, demonstrating the industry’s growing focus on sustainability.
In addition to the vibrant exhibition, the event featured 37 seminars, trend forums, and product zones. These sessions covered major topics such as circularity, material innovation, and the use of AI in textiles. Exhibitors showcased cutting-edge developments like fruit-waste leather, AI-powered fabric inspection tools, and recycled functional textiles.
The fair also played a major role in global networking, hosting over 130 business-matching meetings for eight buyer delegations and 350 meetings for 50 VIP buyers. Participants praised the fair for its strategic timing and valuable connections.
Organisers highlighted the importance of the event in helping textile businesses adapt to global market shifts, including China’s evolving trade ties with ASEAN, Europe, and Africa.
As one of the leading events in the A/W 2026–27 exhibition season, Intertextile Shanghai Autumn 2025 reaffirmed its reputation as a vital destination for textile innovation, sustainability, and international business growth.
