Intertextile Shanghai unveils revamped fringe programme with sector-focused themes

The upcoming Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Autumn Edition 2025 is set to present a revitalised fringe programme from 20–22 August at the National Exhibition and Convention Center, Shanghai. This year’s programme takes a more targeted, sector-driven approach, built around four key themes: NextGen, Palette, Connector, and Go-Green — each spotlighting the evolving priorities and challenges in the global home textiles industry.

NextGen focuses on the future of textiles through AI, smart design, and sustainable innovation. A highlight will be the Future & Textile Zone, where circular textile advocate Ms Anja Bisgaard Gaede will lead interactive sessions exploring bio-based materials and AI-driven design advancements.

Palette explores creativity and design influence in the sector. Celebrated Danish interior designer Ms Camilla Rudnicki will host seminars and guided tours, offering inspiration and practical insights into textile application and product selection.

Connector brings together global voices for high-level discussions on industry transformation, with a summit co-hosted by HOFUR and speakers from China, France, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, and Colombia. Key topics include market trends, investment opportunities, and supply chain evolution.

Go-Green addresses the urgent need for sustainable practices, with thought leaders from Italtex, Collective Responsibility, and Donghua University leading discussions on green transformation, circular economy, and ESG strategies.

Additional sessions include the Designer’s Pick Awards, Total Blackout Innovation seminar, and a preview of the 2026/27 China Home Textile Trend Area.

With global market insight, sustainable innovation, and design excellence at the core, the revamped fringe programme offers unparalleled opportunities for collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
