In Pakistan with high cotton consumption and cotton
production as challenge, he informed that the textile
industry in Pakistan is one of the things which we

of where our country now is as well as contributes
almost 60pc to the GPD. The reason of textile industry
reaching such heights is because we had our own
cotton and is one of the top three cottons of the world
in terms of quantity. The recent challenges have more
to do with the government policies and obsolete
agricultural practices. He said that the government is
now taking initiatives by forming new committees to
improve the situation. He said that we have a lot of
