Happenings textile conference on November 16-17 in Karachi, Pakistan. International and national experts from Happenings
The NED University of Engineering & Technology successfully organized the 5th international
academia and industry participated in this event.
The scope of the conference included advanced dyeing and printing technologies and systems,
advanced polymer and fiber science and technologies, coating technologies, fashion – design and
garment industry, comfort science, technical textiles, composites and membranes,
Nanotechnology, Nano-textiles, electro-spinning, advanced finishing including the surface
modification, protective textile, green textile technologies, wearable technologies, and smart
materials, yarn and fabric manufacturing and their value addition, modeling and simulation in
textiles, conventional and novel textile fibers, color science, trends communication and
management, and the textile economy and supply chain management.
