It’s the final day at FESPA 2025 in Berlin

From 6 to 9 May 2025, at the Messe Berlin, Germany, FESPA Global Print Expo and its co-located events, European Sign Expo and Personalisation Experience, became the ideal meeting places to meet and discover a wealth of products and solutions for use in speciality print, signage, and personalisation.

Thousands of people passed through the doors and walked the aisles of Messe Berlin, with many on the lookout for the new machine, or in some cases, more than one new solution, to help transform their business. From new wide-format print devices to specialist finishing equipment, the FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 had it.

The three events provided the perfect meeting point for international print service providers and sign makers to discover the latest hardware and software innovations across the speciality print industry, as well as a programme of educational and insightful content through the exhibitions’ comprehensive feature programme.

Show partners Brother, Durst, EFKA, HP, Keypoint Intelligence, NSELED Europe, STAHLS Europe and UFABRIK joined over 565 global vendors across the eight halls of Messe Berlin, providing the latest solutions in print and signage technology, with over 100 product launches. Exhibitors for FESPA Global Print Expo include: AGFA, Brother, Canon, EFI, Epson, Fujifilm, Kongsberg PCS, Kornit Digital, LIYU, M&R, Mimaki, Ricoh, Roland, ROQ, Sun Chemical, swissQprint and UPM.

Among this year’s sponsors is HP, which served as the 2025 event’s official ‘Future Work Partner’. A long-term exhibitor at, and indeed supporter of, FESPA events, HP had a major presence on the show floor on Stand 4.20-A20.

Elsewhere, returning as a sponsor this year is Brother, which took the role of ‘Industrial Solutions Partner’. On Stand 2.2-C30, Brother displayed and discussed its latest innovations in direct-to-garment (DTG), direct-to-film (DTF) and wide-format print technologies.

Highlights included a showing of the new GTX600 DTG machine, which the manufacturer has billed as an advanced solution for both high-volume and high-quality print production. It follows the roll-out of sister model, the GTX600 Extra Colours machine, which has been on the market for several years now.

Aside from this, Brother lifted the lid on innovations in DTF, with visitors able to learn more about advancements from expert staff on the stand. In addition, Brother showcased its software workflow automation solutions to help optimise production processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Also active in the textile and garment print markets is another sponsor, UFABRIK, a producer of textiles for digital printing. Those in attendance at the event had the opportunity to view the full range of UFABRIK digital textiles, which the manufacturer said are suitable for use with all ink technologies. At the FESPA Global Print Expo 2025, visitors were able to handle samples and speak with staff about how the products will perform on different types of machinery.

European Sign Expo
Brand new to European Sign Expo (Halls 3.2 & 4.2) this year is the European Sign Expo Pavillion (Hall 3.2), focused on innovative and emerging members of the sign industry. The Pavillion, resembling the style of a lively shopping High Street, and featured digital and architectural signage, illuminated displays and software, from participating exhibitors including: GE Current, Fast Digital Publicité, NEON-line Werbedesign GmbH, Polarstar, Verbax and VTG Sign.

Visitors attending European Sign Expo were able to see the latest technologies for the sign and visual communications industries from over 100 leading vendors. Digital and traditional signage and visual communications solutions were showcased by exhibitors such as: ABC Display Industry BV, Adsystem Sp.z.o.o, Automatic Letter Bender, Bergmen, Cosign, Domino Sign, LucoLED and X-Module.

Comprehensive feature programme
FESPA’s 2025 events in Berlin also welcomed the return of the high-adrenaline World Wrap Masters competition – a visitor favourite – and The FESPA Awards.

The World Wrap Masters feature (Hall 6.2) involved the World Wrap Masters European and World Championship, and enabled visitors to watch some of the best graphic installers from across the world as they compete to be crowned the global winner. There was a series of daily, live technical demonstrations hosted by the Wrap Institute.

The FESPA Awards 2025 showcase, located in Messe Berlin’s entrance, displayed the shortlisted entries across 18 application-based categories for this year’s Awards. Visitors were able to see the entries up close and be inspired from these outstanding print projects.
