Kingpins Amsterdam, one of the world’s most influential denim trade shows, is set to return on October 15–16, 2025, at the SugarFactory in Halfweg. The event will bring together the denim industry’s top minds, mills, brands, and innovators to explore the future of fabric, sustainability, and craftsmanship.
This year’s show will debut a new feature: the “Made in Japan” pavilion. The curated space will highlight the artistry and technical excellence of Japanese denim through a lineup of prestigious mills and manufacturers, including Kurabo, Teijin Frontier, Betty Smith, Big John, Ideablue, and Japan Delivery Service. The pavilion will offer attendees a deep dive into Japan’s legacy of premium denim and precision manufacturing.
In addition to showcasing fabrics, Kingpins will host a range of talks and panels. One notable session, “Key Pieces from Inspiring Wardrobes,” will be moderated by Doug Gunn of The Vintage Showroom and explore how historical and iconic garments influence contemporary design.
The event will also include trend installations and presentations from sustainable textile leaders. Companies like Lenzing will showcase next-gen cellulosic fibers such as TENCEL™ and ECOVERO™, underscoring the show’s commitment to responsible innovation.
