Tahir Manzoor Chaudhry, Vice President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) talked to a Lucia Wong, a Chinese delegate about how Pakistan has the advantage of having an Ideal geographical location which is helping the country’s economic condition as well. There is a lot of room for investment in the country, the type of investment that already shows the promise of great profit. Foreign investors can have rich dividends by joining hands with their Pakistani counterparts and investing in various sectors of the economy
“It is good to see that a Chinese delegation from hi-tech machinery & industrial testing and laboratory testing equipment sectors is visiting LCCI because, after the outbreak of COVID-19, the frequency of the visits of Chinese Delegations to Pakistan has been seriously affected”, he said.
Countries globally are now recovering from the havoc that was caused by the Covid – 19 Pandemic. There are still some aftershocks but the businesses are resuming as life is now getting back to normal. Therefore, frequent exchange of trade delegations in near future is also expected.
“Lahore had a special significance being the hub of business activities in Punjab. Both public and private sector organizations were striving hard to fully exploit the trade and investment potential of Punjab in collaboration with foreign investors”, The LCCI Vice President told the Chinese delegation.
The LCCI President hopes that the blooming relationship between the two countries will blossom into something greater through joint ventures and trade as China is the first choice for Pakistani businessmen to do business with.
