Mango Joins Lectra’s TextileGenesis to Accelerate End-to-End Fibre Traceability

Spanish fashion retailer Mango has expanded its traceability capabilities by joining Lectra’s TextileGenesis, enabling secure, digital mapping of fibres and materials across its global supply chain.

Since completing a successful pilot in 2023, Mango has scaled up the platform across its operations—already tracing 6,000+ tons of sustainable fibres and over 40 million finished product units. The retailer is now tracking natural, animal, synthetic, MMCF and leather materials from fibre origin all the way to retail shelves.

The platform has also activated over 1,000 suppliers across 23 countries, giving Mango visibility far beyond certified fibres to include conventional materials, leather, and footwear.
TextileGenesis CEO Amit Gautam noted the complexity of achieving transparency at Mango’s scale:

“Ensuring accurate traceability requires an advanced solution capable of providing verifiable insights at every production stage. We’re pleased to support Mango’s sustainability goals.”
Mango is deploying multiple tools from TextileGenesis’ 6D suite, including the Fiber-to-Retail module for certified fibres and Supply Chain Discovery for mapping conventional materials backward through the chain.

The partnership strengthens Mango’s long-standing commitment to supply chain transparency and positions the brand ahead of tightening global requirements on traceability, digital product passports, and responsible sourcing.
