The Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT), a multi-category textiles trade show will be held from February 28 to March 1, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City.
Messe Frankfurt and co-organizers of VIATT held a joint press conference on the sidelines of Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, which concluded recently to announce the first edition of the exhibition.
“Serving as a supplementary trade fair to our existing events in China, VIATT will effectively extend our market reach into South East Asia,” Wendy Wen, MD at Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd said.
“We have designed it to reinforce our global Texpertise Network, spanning the entire textile value chain,” she added.
VIATT will cover three primary areas which include; apparel fabrics, yarns and fibres, and garments; technical textiles and nonwovens, textile processing and printing technology and lastly home textiles.
The exhibition will occupy over 19,000 sq. feet of exhibition space, around 500 exhibitors and the organisers are expecting attendance of around 35,000 visitors.
Messe Frankfurt will harness its more than 30 years of experience in organising Intertextile in China, and extend it to the fast-growing textile sector in Vietnam.
“VIATT 2024 will be an important hub helping suppliers and buyers in all categories to meet, source, and unleash the full potential of this market,” Vu Ba Phu, DG of the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency said.
According to Messe Frankfurt, the fair will have quality exhibitors from Vietnam, ASEAN, and beyond, providing buyers with numerous, diverse sourcing options.
