The PCMEA Voice Chairman has urged the government to announce the incentives for the import industry of the country during the forthcoming federal budget by comparing these incentives with other countries already giving to its industries dealing with exports. He said that this would help improve the country’s economic stability and it would also help in providing employment opportunities in the country.
He said that the present policy of ad hocism and political unrest in the country is also destroying the economic situation. Usman Ashraf has also urged the political parties to implement their manifestos as per the charter of democracy after the general elections so that the country could prosper.

The PCMEA leader also expressed his concern over the reduction in the exports of the country and said that till March 2023 the country’s exports are reduced to a record level during the seven months. The country’s economic situation is also going from bad to worse day by day due to this reduction in exports.
He said that in the present circumstances, the export tool could be used properly so that the country could be brought out of present economic crises. He demanded that the ad hoc policy should be stopped forthwith and viable solutions should be adopted permanently. He said that the government considers a relief policy for the export industry to boost the country’s exports, but strict restrictions by the international financial institutions badly affect it, thus governments are being forced to remove these incentives due to hard restrictions.

Usman Ashraf has said that the huge cost of production, political unrest, devaluation of the Pakistani Rupee, and polarized atmosphere of the country always affects the export industry, which results in bad economic conditions.
He said that Pakistan is far behind in comparison with other countries of the subcontinent due to the unrest condition. He urged the government to better economic policies, especially in the field of export so that the country could get rid of undue pressure from international financial institutions.
