TEXtalks: Germany and Pakistan are celebrating 70 years of Friendship, what would you say?
Mrs. Regina Brückner: 70 years of friendship and cooperation is a really long time. It is inspiring that we have been able to maintain this friendship over more than two generations. Friends support each other and friendship does not only develop between individuals, but also between countries. We should definitely keep that going in the future.
TEXtalks: How is Brückner’s technology contributing to the advancement of the textile industry in Pakistan?
Mrs. Regina Brückner: The textile industry in Pakistan has changed a lot over the years and has always developed further. Most of the companies have excellent know-how, trained employees and place more and more value on quality in the production of their textiles. Of course, this also includes modern machinery with intelligent systems and innovative technology. With BRÜCKNER machines you have all benefits for a sustainable and highly efficient production of textile finishing from one single source. We advise our customers holistically, train the operators and are always available with support also after the commissioning of our lines. Due to the digitalization of our machines, we can give our customers quick and easy assistance also from the distance.
TEXtalks: How long is Brückner’s collaboration with Pakistan’s textile market?
Mrs. Regina Brückner: BRÜCKNER was founded more than 70 years ago, so we have existed about as long as the German-Pakistani friendship. Since the beginning Pakistan has been one of our sales markets and the cooperation has been strengthened more and more over the years. With our local agency Nazer & Co. we are also having a very strong friendship and cooperation. Together we have always been very well positioned in Pakistan and have well trained local technicians and a spare parts warehouse on site. Therefore we are always close to our customers and can ensure competent and fast service at all times.
TEXtalks: Pakistan is a potential market, how do you see to increase the outreach of Brückner products to the local industry?
Mrs. Regina Brückner: Of course, we report a lot about our products and the novelties in the local Pakistani magazines. However, we are convinced that word of mouth is the best advertising you can have. Many Pakistani companies have been relying on BRÜCKNER lines for years and the word gets around in the market. Our customers focus on productivity, reliability and they know that an investment always has to be considered in the long term. Our lines are running for decades, very robust, and above all very energy-efficient. With our intelligent drive technology you save energy and produce high-quality fabric at the same time. Many of our customers realized that machines of high quality are more productive and more efficient than other ones. Reducing the cost for energy and being more productive increases their own success and is supporting them in working more sustainable. In the end, this enables our customers to be even more competitive in the future.
TEXtalks: Any special comments / messages to the readers on the 70th Friendship Anniversary?
Mrs. Regina Brückner: We are very positive about the Pakistan market and believe in its potential. We are proud and happy to have so many customers all over the Pakistan country who became really good friends. This excellent relationship forms the base for both sides to be successful and competitive in the future!
