Stäubli launched several new weaving technologies

Stäubli, the Switzerland-based provider of industrial machinery, launched new solutions for high-quality weaving at ITMA. Stäubli’s newest S3280 rotary dobby concept for air-jet weaving machines, in combination with its harness motion, offers “maximum performance for frame weaving”, said the company.

Meanwhile, in the weaving preparation department, the Active Warp Control 2.0 (AWC 2.0) and the cloud solutions Active Productivity Control/ IoT 4.0 “ensure quality and outstanding productivity”.

Elsewhere, a company representative explains details of updates to its energy-saving jacquard machines of its Pro series: “Stäubli’s new SX Pro, LX Pro, LXL Pro and LXXL Pro machines are designed to handle even highly complex fabric structures with energy efficiency, and our N4L Pro Jacquard machine adds unmistakable elegance and personalization to fine fabrics.”

Stäubli’s booth also featured machinery dedicated to technical fabric and carpet weaving, including the new Alpha 580 Universal, which was unveiled for the first time at ITMA Milan.

The launches will no doubt appease its dedicated customers, who contribute to an approximated 56 billion shirts woven by Stäubli machinery per year.

At a press conference during ITMA where representatives announced the launches, further attention was paid to the company’s interest in the potential of recycling and its planned scope of action.

Stäubli also highlighted the importance of sustainability with regard to durability and recyclability; digitalisation and innovation; and the maintainability and repairability of machinery during production.
